Recovery A Very Important ProjectA Better Elmwood Project posted October 19th I know bible stories can inspire some people and turn others off; I don't intend to turn anyone away from this project to revive Elmwood. So with this disclaimer, I will continue. I was a farmer and some parables do resonant with me. It is hard to think of the bible or Jesus and not think of parables. In one parable the sower casts out seeds, the seeds end up in many different types of locations. Some seeds are devoured by the birds, some on rocky areas, some on sandy soil, and some on good earth. Some of the seeds do not grow at all, some may sprout but soon wither, and some will sprout, grow, and produce a bountiful crop. As Elmwood moves forward it needs to cast many seeds, not every effort will turn out, as we intended. Even though not every seed produces if you want to produce a crop, seeds must be sown. I have created a series of essays to help Elmwood's recovery and revitalization. I will post a link to the latest essay below. I will have the others posted with links on the right and left columns in chronological order, not necessarily logical order. As always I invite your thoughts to publish, as well.
