22 Days is a Lifetime
If you had known Glen Davis you would know how it came to be that his son-in-law felt like he had lost his own father. Glen always sought to do the right thing. He knew how to work with others. He was township supervisor and county board member from 1932 until his death. He was on the first school board that formed the Roseville Unit district. He served in any number of positions in the churches he was a member in, he was a boy scout leader, and girls baseball coach. In a recent conversation some one remembering Glen said he was a baseball man. He was a pitcher and loved baseball had spent most of his free time playing the game as a young man. He was a White Sox fan, I'm sure the "Black Sox" scandal was very devastating for him. If there were a field of dreams, he would like to be playing. He would have like the doctor played by Burt Lancaster left behind what he loved if someone needed his help.
