I am sure you all have memories of Palace movies, maybe you should organize a family event. Rent a DVD and relive an old memory. If you are in separate parts of the country watch the same movie and chat on the Internet about your memories. I have found Nancy didn't see many of the great classic movies. Erik and I have scheduled a couple of family nights where we watch a classic movie. Organize these evenings into a donate to the Palace night, invite friends not from Elmwood regale them with Palace theater memories. Offer to tell more stories if they donate to Save the Palace; offer to stop telling stories if they donate to the Save the Palace fund; take the highest offer.
If you haven't read Karl Taylors Palace Wednesdays ; you will want to find time. It makes me want to have been there hollering Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.

With a program between of all the local talented people who will make this happen, Bill Seipel and band, the McCarthy family, etc. You'll want to have taken the first step of a journey, yes so trite. So do, pledge $5 a month. Oh the granola California joke, is what ain't flakes, are fruits and nuts.
You will want to be there; I know I will--- So Do Something
