Today’s Scripture is the story where Jesus found himself lost in his Father’s house
This is the only story we have of Jesus from the time of his birth until he goes to see John the Baptist. It appears in no other gospel. The scripture begins as Joseph and Mary leave the temple with the infant Jesus and return to Nazareth.
When Jesus was 12 his parents found him at the temple.
“Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand what he was saying to them.
