With all of the new restaraunts opening in town (J & G Cafe, Geppettos), it seemed appropriate to remind you of a place that has been an enjoyable business in Elmwood for quite some time now--The Tastee Freez.
The Tastee Freez is currently located at 608 W. Main Street.

For those of you who haven't been there for a while, and for those of you who are now craving some Tastee Freez food just from reading this, I'm going to just give you a little refresher course in what the Tastee Freez has to offer.
The layout of the Tastee Freez is very convienent. There is inside seating for the cooler months of the year and air-conditioning in the summer for those of you who think 90-degree weather is unbearable.
Also, for those of you who enjoy the summer days outside, there is a very nice set-up outside.

And in case you have forgotten or just didn't know, the Tastee Freeze food is excellent. Whether you want chicken strips, a tenderloin, a chili dog, or your favorite kind of ice cream, the Tastee Freez has all of your favorites in food.
Currently, the Tastee Freeze has a few specials going. They have the Tastee Freeze combos which include Big T burgers, Double Cheeseburgers, Big Country burgers, and Tastee Chicken sandwiches. There are also the weekday combos for every day during the week. The Kids' combo is also one of the favorites.
However, one new addition that has been very popular so far is the Flavor of the Week in ice cream. Using Flavor Bursts, the Tastee Freeze has a new special flavor that changes every week. Also a new addition to the Tastee Freeze is the Call-Ahead Service, if you call ahead to the Tastee Freeze and request this, they will gladly bring your food out to you.
